I may not know how do the best crispy, fluffy waffles taste like, but these are some of the few places I've tried before in JB.
1. Wong Kok Char Chan Teng
This waffle with two scoops of ice-cream (vanilla & chocolate) was pretty mediocre though, but since I'm a fan of waffles, I wasn't even complaining!

I'll list down as many details as possible below the pictures if I do remember! But I probably don't because I'm an extremely absent-minded person.

Notice that I actually posted 3 pictures of waffles that I've tried in Coffee Valley. Why? Because it's by far my favourite waffle place in JB. With the generous amounts of toppings, the waffles are definitely worth a try, or two, or more. They also serve big slices of mille crepe cakes ( Matcha, Red Velvet, Chocolate etc). The prices are pretty reasonable too. I always recommend this place whenever people ask for suggestions but if you find that the location's a problem for you, do try other waffle places. They're not bad, just that I favour more of the ones from Coffee Valley!

On another topic, I've been browsing through some easy and healthy recipes which may be of help when I further my studies in KL next year. I've came across this pancakes recipe before and I've wanted to try this since a long time! I didn't mention that I'm also a fan of pancakesss. They're like waffles, only thinner, smaller, and softer. Since I'm currently restricting myself from consumption of processed foods because of a healthy diet ( will talk about it next time ) that I'm undergoing, this is a really good recipe! And guess what? Only two ingredients are required and these ingredients can be attained easily from anywhere too.
1 large banana
2 small eggs
1. Peel and mash the banana, stir in the eggs. Beat until well-combined.
Optional : You can add in other ingredients. I've tried adding in some ground flexseeds and rolled oats!
2. Heat a non stick skillet. Turn the heat down to medium-low.
3. Pour a circle of batter into the pan.
4. Cook until golden brown on the underside, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
You can eat the pancakes with almost anything! I've topped it with a dollop of peanut butter and greek yoghurt, some blueberries and drizzled some honey on it.
Then it's done! Easy right?
It may not look appetising to you, but the taste wasn't as bad as I thought! In fact, it was pretty good. I'm actually quite shocked that 3 small pieces of it could last me for more than half a day. I wasn't craving for anything to eat, surprisingly. It's a good breakfast / lunch idea if you're rushing as it's not time-consuming at all. I'll most likely try making it again, and at the same time, perfecting the shape and texture. Heh.

Oh oh, dad made my day even better by purchasing my air ticket to the UK in January. Words can't express how excited I am already to travel alone and meet up with two of my best friends there!
Well, I guess that's enough for today,
I'll blog again soon!
